He works with therapeutic modalities such as mindfulness-based strategies, ACT, Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT), Interpersonal neurobiology, Rogerian, Psychodynamic and body-entered experiential approaches.

For Kevin life is a journey that we continually strive to grow and change in order to reach our goals. Most of the time be are able to adapt to the challenges life throws at us and move towards our intended direction. However, sometimes we get stuck due to developed patterns of thinking, feelings and interacting that are no longer effective in navigating personal, professional and relational challenges. Psychotherapy is a good place to start.

As a psychotherapist Kevin provides a collaborative process to explore and understand yourself more fully. Self knowledge may help you to engage authentically in more meaningful and fulfilling activities and relationships. He strives to provide a non-judgmental space through active listening and unconditional positive regard, to strive to understand your unique perspective. Focussed reflection, education and skill training are additional ways to identify and change unhealthy or ineffective cognitive, emotional or behavioural patterns.

Kevin has a Masters of Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Guelph. He is a registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Outside of psychotherapy Kevin belongs to an improv comedy troupe where he teachers and performs. Improv cultivates creativity and builds scene partner(s) through active listening and support which brings the same level of creativity into the counselling room.
